The four-sided lens of Ireland's Fastnet Rock Lighthouse was built in 1903 at the workshop of Messer. Chance Brothers Ltd., Glassmakers of Smethwick, England. An incandescent petroleum vapor burner was placed in the center of the lens. The power of the beam was 750,000 candle power. This Harbour Lights Fresnel Lens replica lights up! Requires 3 "AAA" batteries (not included), or with the 4.5 volt adapter sold separately, item #13899. 3 1/2" x 8 3/4".
