2002 Collector Forums Photography Contest Winners

Seventy-one photographers entered 215 images in the 2002 Collector Forums Photography Contest. The contest was initiated by Harbour Lights collector Tim Young. Judges were Kim Andrews, C.O.O., Harbour Lights, Court Patton, Graphic Design Consultant to Harbour Lights and Tim Young.

All three judges commented on the number of excellent photographs entered and how difficult it was to select a single winner. Entries could be either lighthouse photographs or non-lighthouse photographs and each of those two categories were divided into two groups - those who have an individual Gallery at the Gallery of Lighthouse Photography and those who do not.

Judges selected a first, second and third place winner in each of the four categories. First place received 5 points, second place 3 points and third place 1 point. The photograph with the highest number of points in each category was given first place and any entries which received 3 or more total points received an honorable mention. The selections of first place in the two lighthouse categories was unanimous among the three judges.

First place winners will receive a limited edition Harbour Lights and honorable mentions will receive a Little Light of Mine lighthouse by Harbour Lights.
