AB Anchor Bay - A line of "Great Ships of the World" introduced in 1996. The line includes generic ships and boats, USCG ships and boats and lightships. [Checklist: p.454]

BLL - British Little Lights. A version of the LLOM line in the USA. Twelve different lighthouses of Great Britain were sculpted by Harry Hine and produced by John Hine Studios in England. Approximately 200 pieces of each of the twelve lights was made. They were to supplement the Pharos Collection. Like the Pharos Collection, the British Little Lights project were cancelled in January 2000. None were for sale in the USA. [p.371-372]

HB Historic Building - Originally this designation began to identify non-lighthouses such as the Fort Washington Bell Tower MD, but now refers to non-nautical sculptures such as the Old North Church Boston.

LE Limited Edition - A series which is limited by a set quantity which will be made and sold or by the length of time it will be available to purchase by dealers or collectors. [Checklist p.438]

LE Event - A limited edition lighthouse available at a specific event such as an in-store signing, a regional event or a collectors reunion.

LE Event Thumbnail - Detailed lighthouses each about 1" in height. Used as gifts at signing events or Collectors Reunions. First introduced at the 1997 Collectors Reunion.

LE Fresnel Lens - A limited edition replica of a Fresnel Lens. All but the first one issued have internal lighting.

LE Special - A limited edition piece produced as a 'special' such as to mark the millennium or the Harbour Lights' 10th Anniversary. [Checklist p.447]

LE Society Lighthouse - A limited edition lighthouse available only to members of the Harbour Lights Collectors Society for a limited time. For each membership year, members receive a 'gift' piece at no additional charge and may then purchase the Members' Exclusive piece. An exclusive ornament piece was available to members for $15 from 1996 - 2004. [Checklist p.446]

GLOW - Great Lighthouses of the World series. All are open editions. Some have been retired, resculpted and reintroduced. Most issued since 200X have been internally lighted. [Checklist p.451]

GN Guardians of the Night - A series of twelve ceramic lighthouses in a larger scale designed to compete with Lefton lighthouses when that company went bankrupt. The series was introduced in July 2003.  Sales were poor and the line was discontinued in December 2004. About 1,200 of each light were made, but not that many reached dealers. Each was internally lighted.[Checklist p.460]

GONE - A lighthouse that is no longer standing such as the Pharos Lighthouse of Egypt or Mispillion DE. Some were officially designated as "Gone but not forgotten" lighthouses.

LLOM - Little Light of Mine - Series of approx. 190 open edition lighthouse replicas each about 3" in height. Introduced January 2000. [Checklist p.455]

Ornament - Christmas Ornaments were first introduced in 1996. Some were available to Collectors Society members (usually an ornament of the previous year's Society Exclusive); others were initiated as open editions, but all lighthouse ornaments eventually retired. Fresnel lens ornaments were introduced in 2004 and 2005. [p.399] [Checklist of ornaments p.458]

Pharos - The Pharos Collection was intended for sale only in Europe. A number of problems occurred at introduction and the line was cancelled shortly after it was launched in January 2000. [p.370-371]

Spyglass - Detailed lighthouses each about 2" in height. The first set of 4 Spyglass Lights was a gift for renewing Collectors Society members in 1996-1997. Two other sets were produced for sale.[p.412]

ACC Accessory - Items such as dealer signs which don't fall into another category above. Some were limited, others open edition [p.416-419]
